Chronic disease and terminal illnesses such as cancer, autism, asthma, birth defects, ADD / ADHD, learning disabilities and developmental disabilities are running rampant in millions of children in North America and Worldwide.

Studies and scientific evidence are pointing to factors such as a poor diet, environmental hazards and household chemicals as the causes of these life changing and threatening diseases.

“Getting informed about hazards we can avoid is critical to our health and that of our children and grandchildren. What I do find alarming is the volume of information that’s been withheld from us…That’s what people should be alarmed about, and what has to change.”

Because there is so much information to digest I find that most parents are reactive rather than proactive. Responding, if they even do, after a friend tells them something it bad!, rather than taking the steps to prevent problems from occurring.

It doesn’t help that every day something “new” comes out informing the public that oops! something we thought was safe before is actually very lethal! Take BPA in plastics for example. BPA was virtually ignored as a issue for years until recently.
